I've been meaning to respond to some recent comments but haven't, so here goes.
The movie I recently quoted, incorrectly as it turns out, is Resevoir Dogs. It's one of the better movies out there with a lot of good music mixed in. Actually, most of QT's (I'm not even going to try and spell his name) movies have excellent soundtracks.
When I started this excursion, I never really thought my efforts would inspire anyone else to get active. Jen, knowing that I am inspiring you has actually giving me additional inspiration to keep going. Please do not let anyone discourage you. Set your goals and go after them. Your efforts may not be appreciated now, but if nothing else, somewhere down the line your children will, whether they realize it or not.
I still can't run either, but that's a topic for another post. We may have missed the beer run this year, but I'll be happy to run it, or any other event with you in the future. Keep at it, and keep me informed.

OK, Rob...I was behind in reading and chose today of all days to catch up. I skipped swimming tonight (which usually entails about 30 minutes of playing with Joss in the water until Devin cries, but tonight since Steve was home I thought I would try swimnastics, only to become uninterested with the idea). Tomorrow we have a busy day (Thanksgiving program at Shawn's school) so I was contemplating skipping the Y. Now that I read your post, I know I have to at least go and complete my weight circuit. And I am actually wishing they had child care earlier so that I could complete everything. That sounds misleading. By everything, I mean 20 minutes on the eliptical, 20 bike, and 20 treadmill--walking pace of 3.8 miles per hour. I got daring and ran, make that more of a jog, for almost 3 minutes (a mere 4.5 mph) and felt I had accomplished a lot. I know exactly how you feel in the Flowers on the Wall post! Thanks for all the encouragement and putting things into perspective.
